Discrimination & Justice Today
In Peru, social justice and reform have emerged as pivotal components in addressing the entrenched systemic inequalities experienced by marginalized communities, particularly people of color and those living in poverty. Our team chooses to promote social reform, not just in Peru but globally. We believe in creating spaces that reflect society's values, empowering local communities, celebrating Peruvian culture, advocating for inclusivity, diversity, sustainability, and creating lasting change.

The country's legacy of the castas system and persistent racism have resulted in significant racial disparities, perpetuating a cycle of marginalization and inequality. Colonization and conquest have been instrumental in perpetuating discrimination and exclusion, significantly disadvantaging people of color in accessing education, employment, and fundamental rights while subjecting them to disproportionate levels of violence and poverty.
Politically, concerted efforts have been made to grapple with these deep-rooted issues through various reforms and initiatives. However, substantial progress hinges on a sustained commitment to dismantling systemic barriers and addressing the underlying biases perpetuating discrimination.
It is paramount for both the government and society to prioritize social justice and actively strive toward inclusivity, fair treatment, and equal opportunities for all individuals, irrespective of their racial or socioeconomic backgrounds. By recognizing historical injustices and pursuing meaningful reforms, Peru can chart a course toward a more equitable and just society for all its citizens. This profound commitment to change promises a brighter future where equality can finally flourish, creating a more inclusive and harmonious society for future generations.
